The predators of Masai Mara torunn Nov 1

I have to say, Gordon was right, this trip ranges from the sublime to the ridiculous. We've arrived at Sarova Mara in the eastern bit of Masai Mara and it's quite something! There's a pool and a buffet, and the orange juice is quadruple the price at Karibuni. The drive out here was incredible. The first view of the mara was simply stunning - I was in awe and so was my camera.

We saw all sorts today - elephants, warthogs, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeests, zebras (often heard: "oh no, not another zebra!") lions and more. It was absolutely mint hanging out the sunroof on the safari van. I had a great time!
