Netball Festival 2025: Empowering Girls Through Sport
The Netball Festival 2025 in Ndhiwa- Kenya was a vibrant celebration of teamwork, resilience, and community spirit. The event brought together girls to gain experiences and netball skills, build confidence, and learn leadership. With cheers from teachers, and supporters, the festival showed that the girls can do more when given the opportunity, it also served as a fun opportunity for the girls to engage in sporting activity. Noven Owili joined Team Kenya’s program in 2007 while in Class 7, during a difficult time in her life. Living with her mother and siblings under a leaking iron sheet roof and cracked walls, education seemed out of reach — until Team Kenya stepped in.
